Anta is the 4th largest sports apparel company in the world with a more than $7 billion market cap. Anta sells more pairs of shoes in China than any other company, selling 42 million shoes last year. Anta represents marquee athletes like Klay Thompson, Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo, and Luis Scola. Anta was looking to make the move to the United States - the largest sneaker market in the world.
On a tight timeline, we designed and developed an e-commerce website to launch before the Black Friday shopping season. We launched with a small marketing budget and reached more than 1 million people with the site launch. The purpose of the site was to create a brand new apparel brand to compete with the likes of Nike and Adidas.
We worked on a tight timeline in order to get an initial site launched for the Christmas shopping season so that Anta could expose customers to the brand.
We worked with apparel storytellers and created a persona around Klay's shoes. Klay is the continuous rain in the storm.
Mobile development requires rapid iteration, testing prototype features quickly was critical to the success of the site on a short timeline.
